De Beschuitsteeg is a street in the centre of the Dutch city of Leiden. De Beschuitsteeg runs from the Nieuwstraat to the Nieuwe Rijn and the Sint Sebastiaansbrug. The street is about 90 meters long. The alley owes its name to the rusk market that moved there from the Steenschuur in the seventeenth century. Before that the alley was called Hooglandse Kerktorensteeg, or Torensteeg for short, after the tower of the Hooglandse Kerk where the alley ends.
The Leiden American Pilgrim Museum is located on the Beschuitsteeg. It is housed in the oldest existing house in Leiden: the building dates from 1366. The alley has five municipal monuments.
