A digital drawing I made on a photo of myself taken in London. A wall at Shortridge, EastEnd London. A neighborhood with very much beautiful street art. Just very special. A clean floor against an equally clean but demolished wall. Although, if one looks closely one can see a piece of text from Beowulf being slowly sucked up by a Stik figure with a vacuum cleaner. It is telling, the neighborhood, Shortridge is slowly being swallowed up by monstrous glass skyscrapers. Just like here, while the youth look on unsuspectingly, their future history disappears. I will later convert this photo into a painting , ready by the end of the summer and to be seen at the EuropArtFair in Amsterdam. But of course this preliminary study is already for sale digitally :)
