A Retro style painting of a woman on the beach is one of my most favorite art forms because it is so different from the norm. It brings back memories when I was young and I have been really into pin-ups for years now. In Retro style you have pin-up women that are in school, nursing school, or just in their teens. Often times pin-up girls have sports jerseys or college tee on and that is where I love to hang these art forms in my house. I find that the retro art style is so versatile and it comes in many different mediums. You can get these great paintings of women in all kinds of poses in a summer setting.

Retro style painting of a woman on the beach can come in the form of pencils, paints, charcoal, watercolors, acrylics, and even pencils mixed with paints and pastels. Whatever medium you choose to use it can be your own personal canvas. Just like any other type of art, the more you practice the better you will get. I like to use two mediums to try different painting techniques to see what looks best with my style of art.

Some of my favorite Retro style painting of a woman on the beach are the ones that focus on her long legs and her high leg straps. I also love to see the way her arms are positioned on the beach pinup art. The way she is posing with her legs is so inviting and romantic.
