About ‘Beach find’ by Joes van Asten

The photograph shows five whelk shells carefully arranged in a tranquil composition. The shells are positioned so that their pointed ends almost meet at the bottom right of the frame, creating a subtle focal point. From that point, the shells fan out slightly, forming a natural, almost star-shaped arrangement.

The colours transition from soft and harmonious to bold and contrasting: ranging from a light grey-blue to a deeper, more saturated shade of blue. These colour transitions give the shells a maritime feel reminiscent of the sea and the beach. The surface of the shells displays fine textures and ridges, which are clearly visible in the close-up image: Here and there, small grains of sand cling to the shells, as if they have just been picked up from the shore. These details add a tangible, realistic dimension and reinforce the sense of authenticity. The background is calm and unobtrusive, allowing all attention to be focused on the shape, colour and texture of the shells.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
