About the artwork

A calm frontal gaze meets the viewer with a clear bindi while three light butterflies lift around the cheek and shoulder. Blues and teals sweep across the skin like cool festival powder and a few gentle drips fall on the right side. The facial planes remain clean and readable so the eyes hold attention from across the room.

I built this piece to balance serenity and quiet confidence. Sketches explored how a cooler palette could carry grace without losing warmth, so the butterflies sit in open space and guide the eye back to the expression. The mood I want is a refreshing pause after music and dance, a centered presence framed by color.

Layered washes model the brow nose and lips, with selective glazing to deepen the irises and polish the bindi edge. Lifted highlights along the mouth and hairline keep the light crisp. The open background preserves generous negative space, giving the portrait a clear silhouette that prints beautifully at large size for living rooms bedrooms and creative studios.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
