On a hazy morning in mid-November 2024, I planned a photography morning in Park de Plantage in Culemborg.
I love these kind of atmospheric autumn days, when it is so quiet in the park. Alone with the park and my camera, I can totally immerse myself in the moment.
Park de Plantage is an old park, designed by Zocher in 1850, but earlier a park had been laid out on this spot. In this park there are beautiful, often old trees that in autumn turn every shade of yellow and orange you can think of.
The bench in the photo is the well-known Zocherbank, with its characteristic tree trunk-shaped legs. This mid-November, a lot of leaves have already fallen and how beautiful the picture becomes!
This park is an incredibly charming part of Culemborg and different and beautiful in every season.
The focus in this photo is on the autumn leaf in the middle. I thought it was beautiful, atmospheric and arty to leave the outer images a bit more in the blur, so that your eye is drawn to the centre.
