The Atlas Mountains are a mountain range in northwestern Africa. It lies to the south of the western Mediterranean Sea and runs from west to east through Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia.
The highest peaks reach over 4000 meters and on some of these peaks there is eternal snow.
This photo was taken 30 kilometers outside Marrakech.
