About ‘At the heart of the lily’ by Marja Lok

There is much symbolism associated with the Lily. in this picture, we look deep into the heart. Where we find loveliness, purity, love, fertility, femininity, unity and impermanence. No wonder this flower is often used for events that are close to our hearts. I made the choice to photograph deep into the heart with a Lensbaby sweet 50 so that a dreamy atmosphere is created and every viewer can relate their own thoughts and feelings to it. This image is perfect for a quiet room or rest area. it will also look great in and modern space. The bright colour of the lily adds colour and light to the room, but will at the same time radiate tranquillity.
