About ‘Architectural reflections’ by Frans Nijland
Looking up often pays off. There is a rectangular hole in the ceiling at Utrecht Central Station. Usually you walk past it but sometimes you look up anyway. And if you stand right underneath it, you see this image with beautiful reflections of the glass office facades. Architecture at its best.

My name is Frans Nijland, I am an amateur photographer and I live in Delden Overijssel. For years my great passion was urbex photography, capturing the decay of abandoned buildings. For this many trips have been made in a large part of Europe. Over the years my interest has broadened to include nature photography, architecture and urban photography. I hope you enjoy my photos.
Sincerely, Frans Nijland.
