About ‘Analogue Amsterdam.’ by Renzo Gerritsen
A typical canal picture of cycling city Amsterdam, photographed with an analogue camera. I then scanned the negatives so that I have a digital photo.
What you see is what you get, complete with the black edges and damage from the film. That is exactly what makes the photo beautiful and pure.

Renzo Gerritsen is a young and ambitious photographer, always looking for a new perspective. With his project Nachtelijk Amsterdam (Nocturnal Amsterdam) he photographs Amsterdam in a unique way, unlike any other with a fresh perspective.
In addition, Renzo made a reportage about dilapidation in Amsterdam with beautiful urbex photos from his own soil, a cruise ship from the roof of the Mövenpick Hotel and other spherical urban landscapes. Take a look between his photos.
