About ‘An amusement park with trees’ by Peter Kuipers

The days in May start early, so I had to get out as early as 05:15 to be at this location, the Slochterbos in Slochteren. Once arrived, a walk starts first.
The most beautiful part of the forest can be found at the back, although for this you first have to walk a good kilometre through the beautiful forest/garden of the Fraeylemaborg.

The garden at the Fraeylemaborg was laid out in the late 17th century by owner Piccardt with long baroque sight axes, the longest in the Netherlands. The garden is 1.3 kilometres long and the central axis is particularly impressive. Piccardt was at the court of Louis XIV and probably had his French gardens in mind. The formal layout was extended in the 19th century in the somewhat looser English landscape style, which was later applied even further. Especially the woodland character (the 'Slochterbos') is characteristic of the Fraeylemaborg. Source: www.deverhalenvangroningen.nl/

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
