Tips for use

The orange-bellied honeybird (Dicaeum trigonostigma) is a mongrel that occurs on the Indian Subcontinent and the Indian Archipelago. The orange-bellied honeybird is a small, stocky bird that is 8 cm long. The male of the orange-bellied honeybird is blue above with a yellow-orange back, rump and belly. The underside of the tail is blue to black, while the throat and top of the breast are grey. Immature birds and females are much less colourful, being predominantly greenish grey, with a light, yellowish rump. Further darker above than below.
