In the Jordaan, near the Westertoren, in Amsterdam, the facades on the Prinsengracht have stood for centuries.
Here from the bridge over Lauriergracht with bicycles patiently waiting for their owners.
The facades present an almost graphic image with the horizontal and vertical lines and the white windows in between.
