Second edition of a map of Amsterdam. The design of the decorations, possibly also the map image and the engraving by probably Romeyn de Hooghe. Scale approx. 1:7,250. Published by T. Danckerts. With a dedication by Pieter Persoy to Jonas Witsen, who was appointed town clerk at the age of seventeen. The latter makes it likely that Persoy was the first publisher. A copy of the first edition is not known. Orientation: south-southwest above.
