About the artwork

Amersfoort's Koppelpoort is an extraordinary feat of medieval architecture and one of the city's most famous landmarks. The gate is part of the city wall and dates back to the 14th century. It is an impressive and imposing structure that is still in perfect condition. At sunset, the Koppelpoort really comes alive. The light from the sun gives the stone walls and towers a warm glow, making the gate seem even more majestic. The water of the moat reflects the light, creating a magical spectacle. Not surprisingly, Koppelpoort is a favourite spot for photographers and tourists, but it is also a special place for the residents of Amersfoort itself. On warm summer evenings, people sit on the terraces by the water and enjoy the view of the gate. It is a place where you can unwind and enjoy the beauty of the city.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
