About ‘Aim Back’ by Victor Weijers

Aim Back is a raw and confrontational artwork that captures the tension and mindset of the street in a single powerful image. In this black-and-white collage, a female figure is depicted head-on, holding a weapon aimed directly at the viewer. The black bar across her eyes strips her of her identity, yet simultaneously reinforces her stance: anonymous, untouchable and completely in control.

The title “Aim Back” turns the tables. Whereas you normally look at art, this work stares right back at you. It challenges you, puts you on edge and places you right in the middle of the tension. Are you the spectator, or suddenly part of the story? The torn layers of concrete-like textures and architecture give the work a distinct urban feel. It seems as though the city itself is falling apart and being rebuilt around the central figure. At the bottom, a small silhouette walks by, adding a sense of scale and isolation—as if everyone in this world is small in the face of the chaos and control that converge here.

Aim Back fits perfectly into a street art and modern urban interior, and appeals to lovers of edgy, visual statements with a strong attitude. A piece that doesn’t just hang there, but reacts.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
