About the artwork
"Abstract square turquoise: Droplets rest on a dandelion" is a macro photo of water droplets on the fluff of a dandelion with a turquoise background. The dandelion's fluff is also golden in colour due to the "golden" light.
When taking this photo, I chose a limited depth-of-field. This creates a sense of depth in the work in addition to a dreamy atmosphere. It also makes it seem like you are looking through the fluff. As an example, you can see this in the bottom right corner, where there is a golden glow coming from a fluff sitting in the foreground.
The droplets also work to create this dreamy atmosphere, they reflect the light and this creates sparkles between the fluff of the dandelion.
