On a hot summer day in July, I was standing with my feet in ice-cold river water in the Peak District in England. I was seeing what a slow shutter speed did to the water because it was too hot to do anything else.
The reflection of the sun made sharp patterns on the water. From that point came this photo. They look like electrical wires as if from thunderstorms. An abstract whole and totally unrecognizable as water.
