About the artwork

Above the Clouds captures the wonder of looking from altitude - a moment when the world seems to stand still for a moment. Through the plane window, a sea of clouds unfolds, bathed in shades of orange, purple and gold. The wing cuts through the air like a reminder of movement, as the sun slowly sinks behind the horizon.

The image breathes tranquillity, but also perspective: everything that seems so big below becomes small and soft here. The distance creates space - not only physically, but also mentally. It is the moment when we step outside ourselves for a moment, see the world from above, and realise how fragile and beautiful it is.

Within the album Everyone's Perspective, this work depicts the theme of distance and insight. Where previous windows stayed close to home or earth, Above the Clouds lifts the gaze. Perspective literally changes - and with that view comes a new form of clarity: the knowledge that everything is in motion, yet remains connected.

The painting invites surrender: letting go of what is going on below, and trusting in the serenity of the moment.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
