About ‘A crack to infinity’ by Julien Beyrath

A double row of breakwaters on the beach of Westenschouwen in the Netherlands. At low tide, the bright green of the seaweed brings a nice color to the scene. For this shot I used a long exposure to smooth the water and overexposed the photo to "burn" the sky to give a surreal effect.

My name is Julien Beyrath, hunter of the ephemeral. I was born in Alsace (France) and currently live in the Netherlands.
As far back as I can remember in my childhood, I have always been positively affected by the contact with the wilderness, even more so when I met the wildlife. Somewhere along the way I lost this contact with nature. Nevertheless, starting photography was a trigger and a motivation for me to dive back into it, to reconnect and relive those childhood…
