About ‘A View of the Academy Building in the Heart of Utrecht’ by Mr White Takes Pictures
From the Dom Tower, you’re always treated to a stunning view. In this photo, autumn has spread throughout the city; from above, you can see the autumn trees ablaze with shades of yellow and orange. It’s a cityscape worth framing and looking at again and again through a telephoto lens.

I am Martijn Wit and I like to photograph nature in my neighbourhood, but I also love to capture the city and the night. I love the play of light in combination with the vintage lenses I use. I like doing macro and close-up photography, so I often lie on my stomach among the bushes. My focus is often on the tranquillity that, if you look closely, can be found everywhere. So also in the busy city. Have fun in my shop and if you have any questions, please contact me.
