A Classic Car by the Eiffel Tower | Paris in Black and White

by Lauren Wilde

Paris and classic cars make for a timeless combination. This atmospheric photograph shows an elegant French classic car parked on the wet streets of the French capital, with the imposing Eiffel Tower providing an unmistakable backdrop. The rainy sky, the glistening road surface and the understated black-and-white colour palette lend the image a nostalgic feel reminiscent of the romantic films of yesteryear.

The composition has been carefully crafted, with the classic car positioned slightly off-centre and the Eiffel Tower towering proudly over the city. The reflections in the wet tarmac add extra depth, whilst the cloudy sky enhances the mysterious atmosphere of a quiet morning in Paris. The absence of colour focuses all attention on form, light and contrast, beautifully showcasing both the iconic architecture and the stylish lines of the classic car.

This wall art featuring Paris is the perfect choice for lovers of classic cars, vintage photography and the French capital. The artwork looks superb in a living room, office, man cave, hall or car enthusiast’s room, and blends seamlessly with a modern, industrial, hotel chic or classic interior.

For anyone who dreams of a stroll along the Champ de Mars, the Seine, the Trocadéro or the atmospheric boulevards of Paris, this photograph brings that unique feeling back to life. A stylish black-and-white photograph of Paris in which the charm of a classic vintage car, the romance of France and the world-famous Eiffel Tower come together.
