Growing up in an artistic family, she developed a strong love for visual storytelling, something that still influences her practice.
Alongside her work as a designer, she has always continued to create. Her images explore the space between reality and imagination, offering moments of calm and reflection.
Each commission represents a new journey of discovery, where she often finds something unexpected about herself in the end result. Her creative process is intuitive and regularly leads to outcomes that go beyond what she imagined beforehand.
Currently, Irene is working on a floral project that revolves around impermanence, the interplay of light and dark and the constant transformation of life. Using digital techniques, she mainly takes on the role of director, but she keeps looking for the tactile experience of material-and is guided by the moment and the properties of the material.
