It was a beautiful (light and air) Thursday in August. on the dike along the river aa at medium red I had to cycle between the cows. from experience I know: only stop when you've passed the 'herd', because cow animals are rabidly curious and before you know it you'll be completely enclosed by them. not that it's dangerous, but there's no way to go when they show their affection (long tongues, wet noses), all together.
