Zoutelande (Zeeland: Zóetelande) is a village in the municipality of Veere in the Dutch province of Zeeland, located on the former island of Walcheren. On 1 January 2018 it had 1620 inhabitants. The coastal town lies between Dishoek and Westkapelle. Traditionally, Zoutelande is mainly a farming village, and agriculture and related activities were the main economic activity. This character slowly but surely changed due to the increasing demand for beach recreation since around the middle of the 19th century.
