About ‘The day is at an end’ by Ger Nielen

A lovely end to the day. The sun has just set, the temperature is still pleasant and the light has a pleasant tint.
Here in Jisp, overlooking lake "het Zwet". The boats are back and neatly moored. For the photo, the colour of the boats provides a pleasant contrast, which makes this photo just a little more exciting.

Once, sometime in the 1960s, started with a Box camera. After that, photography never left him. Around 1990, he focused mainly on aerial photography, but nowadays travel and landscape photography are his passion. This still involves photo editing, such as HDR and to enhance the mood, especially in black-and-white images.
