About ‘The Eternal Guardian’ by Axel Ellerhorst
The photograph "The Eternal Guardian" is part of my "Creatures" series. The idea for this series arose from the use of pareidolia, the phenomenon of recognising supposed faces and familiar beings or objects in things and patterns. Taken on the beach at Varengeville-sur-Mer in Normandy on a overcast day in the winter of 2024.
