About ‘Taki II’ by Hannajozart

‘Taki’ means ‘waterfall’ in Japanese. It is a colourful, modern, abstract painting with organic and geometric elements. Are we seeing a rock face? Leaves? Stitching lines? This piece can be combined with ‘Taki I’ to form a diptych. An eye-catching piece that invites you to lose yourself in daydreams and create your own stories. My work is mostly created using acrylic paint, acrylic pens and oil pastels. Sometimes I use collage techniques and also incorporate paper and fabric. It takes shape playfully by painting layer upon layer onto the canvas with different types of brushes, using a variety of colours and thicknesses. I also enjoy painting with my fingers. I then scratch into the wet paint and partially remove a layer or two, or three. This creates depth. For me, it is about regulating emotions. Shapes emerge, and I bring these to the surface through drawing, guided by my own imagination. An atmosphere is evoked, allowing the viewer to offer their own interpretation and bring the painting as a whole to life.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
