You may be familiar with it, a Bucket List. You would almost say who doesn't have it. Among my photo friends, it's an inexhaustible list. It doesn't get empty.
Photographing the Scheveningen pier at sunset was one of those photos I wanted to take. Preferably during a warm summer evening, then the colors are soft and warm in hue.
The predictions were favorable and I got in the car and headed for Scheveningen. During the drive I saw the sky coloring in the distance and from excitement I would almost floor it, because ste I'm going to be late! But it turned out all right in the end because the sky was even more beautiful on arrival than I saw on the road. Tripod unfolded, camera there ND filter and gradient filter in front of the lens, set it up and shoot until you got the almost perfect or perfect shot. I must say no matter how critical I am of myself, to me this image is perfect, everything is right!
A work you definitely want on the wall, in the living room, in the study or at the breakfast table.
Started with photography almost 10 years ago now. First the more ordinary pictures where by the way nothing is wrong with it. After a while I thought I could get more out of that camera? If I look at my work then it worked out well.
