About "Sleeping butterfly on a beautiful summer morning"

About the artwork

I found this butterfly sleeping on a flower early in the morning. So beautiful the way they hang there and enjoy watching them slowly warm up and face a new day. For a photographer, these mornings are really lovely. The alarm goes off very early, because you want to find the butterflies in their roost. I often go the evening before in my favourite nature reserve to see if I can spot exactly where the butterflies have their roosting spot, because then I don't have to search so long the next morning. The butterflies are so small that it is very easy to overlook them, but if you know where they hang out then it becomes a lot easier. When the sun then rises, you can take advantage of the beautiful soft morning light and that always produces beautiful photos. Should you purchase this work, I wish you a lot of pleasure from it.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
