About ‘Sheep (colour)’ by Lex Schulte

Sheep in the fold Orvelte. The Drenthe Heath sheep had just returned from a day of grazing in the vicinity of the museum village and were waiting for some extra food.
The Drenthe moorland sheep is the oldest breed of sheep in Western Europe. Immigrants brought the race probably from France to the Netherlands, where it already exists from 4000 BC, particularly in Drenthe.
Features of the Drenthe moorland sheep are a slender build, a long furry tail that can reach beyond the heels, stiff and some sleek wool matted hair on head and legs and a straight nose. There all kinds of colors are possible, but variegated black and white animals are not recognized.
The race is divided into the old and the new type. The new type arose from crosses with the Schoonebeker moorland sheep and include a hooker nose and smaller horns. Most contemporary Drenthe Heath sheep are of the new type.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
