About the artwork

Sara, an adventurous soul, decided to seek her true love in the vast Sahara desert. Armed with her map, compass and a bottle of sunscreen she later discovered to be peanut butter, she began her search.

As she walked through the endless dunes, her romantic dream slowly turned into a hilarious failure. She kept getting stuck in sand dunes, mistaking cacti for potential princes and inadvertently making a harem of curious camels.

Sara decided to take a break and climbed a high dune to enjoy the breathtaking view. Suddenly, she felt something soft under her feet. It was not a mysterious love amulet, but simply a forgotten camel's headgear!

She could not help but laugh at the irony of her search. Obviously, her true love was not in the Sahara, but maybe he was just around the corner of her own street all the time.

With a cheerful smile, she climbed down again, determined to keep her adventurous spirit at home. Maybe she would find her prince in a local café or even during a game of miniature golf. After all, who said love couldn't turn up in the most unexpected places? The Sahara may not have been able to give her her true love, but it certainly gave her enough hilarious memories to cherish for a lifetime.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
