The artwork "SONY Center Berlin" shows the architectural diversity and spatial dynamics of the building ensemble of the same name at Potsdamer Platz. In the foreground is a modern building with a clear glass façade, numerous windows and balconies. Behind it, the iconic roof construction of the Sony Centre unfolds - a radial structure of white, sail-like elements radiating from a central point. Another building with a red façade completes the composition and brings a colour contrast to the picture.
The inspiration for this work came from the interplay of transparency, structure and urban density. I was interested in how different architectural elements combine to create a visually exciting overall picture - without losing their independence.
I wanted to create an atmosphere that appears urban, structured and open at the same time. The picture invites you to explore perspectives, materials and spatial effects.
The message lies in the diversity of modern urban architecture - an image of movement, encounter and design.
In interior design, this work acts as an urban eye-catcher. It brings depth, architectural clarity and a touch of metropolitan flair to modern rooms - ideal for workspaces, lofts or minimalist living concepts.
