These old trees stand in the Namibian desert. Due to the extreme drought, the dead trees, which are several hundred years old, are still standing. They look very out of place in this landscape. However, it provides a nice contrast to the bright blue sky and the high sand dunes.
I have enjoyed taking photographs since I was a child, and my father laid the foundation for this. He gave me a completely analogue camera, a Practica with interchangeable lenses for 35mm film. This sparked the fascination that I still pursue today. My cameras and lenses accompany me.. Read more…
