About the artwork

At the beginning of the 1960s, Mercedes-Benz began to produce some prototypes as experimental vehicles for new types of engines and plastic bodies. Wankel and also diesel engines with turbochargers were tested. In addition, these sports cars were equipped with gullwing doors, folding headlights, luxurious leather interior and air conditioning. Inside the prototypes almost looked like a production vehicle. The first test vehicles, the C 111-I, were built and the best-known to date is the C 111-II, which looked like a declaration of war on Porsche. So perfect and perfect in form that some even sent a blank check to Daimler to secure a copy immediately. The press was also completely enthusiastic, but as we already know, he ended up in the museum.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
