Beach on the Oude Veer in Anna Paulowna (North Holland) at cloudy sunrise
The Oude Veer is a representative example of a former tidal system with a central tidal channel with banks and creek branches. It is characteristic and typical of the genesis of this part of North Holland. The historical and natural form is still intact. The creeks with very old deposits of sea clay are very rare in North Holland and irreplaceable.
