About the artwork
Once a year in autumn I visit the famous Dutch Speulderbos, the forest with the dancing trees.
I have already experienced various weather conditions: sunshine with bright blue sky, heavy rain alternating with bright sunshine, but also very cloudy days. But this forest is always beautiful and varied and also very photogenic.
This year we traveled again to the Veluwe to photograph this forest in autumn atmosphere. On the way we were already treated to foggy weather and a beautiful sunrise. We doubted that we would arrive too late. Once we arrived, the first photos were quickly taken. It was just beginning to get a little light in the forest.
But not long after, we saw that we were right on time! The sun was shining through the misty forest, conjuring the most beautiful sun harps you could imagine. It was simply fairytale-like. What a magical morning!
