South American tribes use the word 'icaro' for what they call 'Magic Song'. Nowadays this term is used to describe medicine songs of shamans to bring about a state of healing, consciousness or amazement. The word 'icaro' is derived from the Quechuan 'ikaray' verb that means "to blow smoke in order to heal".
I see the parallels between nature that benefits our health and well-being, as well as natural environments that need our help to heal.
