Godafoss is one of Iceland's most spectacular waterfalls. The Godafoss waterfall is located in the smaller sister of the Golden Circle, the Diamond Circle. The waterfall is divided into several sections by rocks. The waterfall is over 30 metres wide and the water falls down over 12 metres.
It is an impressive sight how the water keeps plunging down and if you stand there the sound of it is also overwhelming.
Tried to take as wide a picture as possible so the magnitude comes across well.
If you are lucky and the sun is right behind you you can see the rainbow in the brow of the water violence.
A wonderful reminder on the wall if you have visited this beautiful country with its extraordinary landscapes.
