About ‘Donkey’ by Bas de Glopper

At the Donkey Sanctuary on sun-drenched Bonaire, I met a curious donkey, whose friendly snout warmed my heart. As I took photos from the cargo box of the pick-up, these charming creatures with their soft, gnarled noses approached me curiously. It was a real delight to see them sniffing curiously and hopping around playfully under the bright sunshine.

Amidst the beautiful weather and lively atmosphere, I realised the inestimable value of the Donkey Sanctuary and the important work they do. This loving place provides a haven for the island's donkeys, where they are cared for and protected from the challenges of life in the wild. Thanks to the dedication of the staff, these majestic animals can thrive in peace and tranquillity, and visitors like me can enjoy their company while experiencing a positive impact from the sanctuary's good work.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
