About the artwork

In this surreal and humorous composition, black-and-white cows take a seat in a classroom as if it were the most normal thing in the world. Each animal sits obediently behind a wooden school desk with open books, while the cow in the foreground works intently on a laptop - the cord of which meanders erratically across the desk. On the wall hangs a distorted clock immediately reminiscent of Salvador Dalí's work, subtly shifting the sense of reality to a dreamlike universe.

The style is a combination of magical realism and surrealist imagery, in which human roles are taken over by animals. This creates an alienating yet humorous image, raising questions about knowledge, routine, time and perhaps the absurdity of modern life.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
