About ‘Between earth and eternity’ by Walter G. Allgöwer

Time rests in the silent splendour of the golden figure.
Buddha Gautama sits motionless, but everything about him speaks of an inner awakening. The earth itself seems to bear witness to his resolve: in the Bhumispara mudra, his hand touches the ground as if calling the world to witness his victory over doubt, fear and impermanence. In this moment, the weight of suffering becomes light, transforming into realisation.
The gold of the statue is not mere jewellery, but an echo of the light born of silence. It collects the thoughts of the faithful, the murmur of prayers, the breath of centuries. In Wat Prayurawongsawas Worawihan, the Buddha rises not through movement, but through stillness. His closed eyes look inwards, to where no forms divide and no name binds.
The elaborate ornaments at his feet resemble the waves of a calm ocean in which heaven and earth are reflected. Bangkok rushes on outside, but here the moment condenses into eternity. In this golden stillness, enlightenment is not shown as a distant ideal, but as a possibility: present, quiet, human. Those who linger in front of this statue may feel for a moment how the earth responds within themselves.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
