A lovely balmy summer evening took us to the Wadden Sea above the Groningen coast this day. The water had been over its lowest point for over three hours, which meant we could walk very far out onto the mud flats. But be warned! The water comes fast, and so we didn't have much time to stand here either. Slowly our feet sank into the mud, which was the sign to walk back.
