On the beach near Rockanje, municipality of Voorne aan Zee, The Netherlands, I photographed a beautiful red plant. Probably sea spurge, or euphorbia paralias, at least if the plant app informed me correctly.
On that photo, I unleashed a script in Photoshop that overlays eight copies, rotated relative to each other, transparently. The result is always unpredictable but in this case it produced a nice dynamic image. The red of the plant and the light brown of the sand can still be recognised. And you could possibly see a starfish in it. But otherwise it has become a kind of abstract painting.
My work can be found in the border regions of photography, painting and computer visuals. With my company 3Develop I do work in commission but I use the same techniques, skills and software to make free work.
