A rustic, minimalist, cosy atmosphere – A petal from a dried flower

by Marjolijn van den Berg

This photo: "Landelijke minimalistische warme sfeer - Een blaadje van een droogbloem" is a macro photograph of a petal and the stem of a dried flower. Because the flower has been dried, the petals have become very fragile and the veins in the petal are clearly visible. If you zoom in, you can see this clearly.
The background consists of all sorts of shades of brown, ranging from earthy tones to dark brown. This variegated background creates a natural, warm feel. As the shades of the background contain different shades of brown to the subject, the petal still stands out beautifully amongst all the brown tones.
Thanks to the warm tones and the minimalist composition in this photograph, this piece – which could almost be described as abstract – would look stunning in a variety of interiors and home styles. For instance, this piece would look stunning as wall art on ArtFrame or canvas in the bedroom, kitchen, hall or simply above the sofa! It would also look lovely in business settings, such as on the wall of a meeting room, office waiting room or practice space, mounted on aluminium or behind acrylic glass, for example!
