About ‘a starfish’ by Walter G. Allgöwer

In the soft, golden sand of the beach on Koh Mook lies a starfish, as if the sea had gently carried it here to leave a sign of peace and beauty. Its symmetrical, delicate pattern looks like a small sculpture of nature - a silent ambassador of the underwater world.
The starfish rests there as if it belongs to this peaceful moment, caught between the sky and the sea. The sand, warm and fine, caresses its contours, while the gentle breeze of the Andaman Sea carries with it the scent of salt and freedom. It seems like a symbol of the serenity of this place - a symbol of holidays, of letting go and becoming one with nature.
On this island, where time flows more slowly and everyday life seems far away, the starfish tells of the connection between land and sea. It may have experienced many tides, but here it rests in quiet beauty, a small treasure of the Andaman Sea.
