The only place without idiots

In this picture I have captured the quiet longing and loneliness that sometimes fills life. The clear, calm colours and the figure by the sea invite you to pause and reflect. It brings a meditative calm to any room and reminds us how precious moments of stillness are. The gentle connection between man and nature radiates confidence and peacefulness.

A very decorative, airy portrait. Only a few clear colours dominate: blue, white, cream and the shadow of the woman on the sand. The picture comes alive through this openness, its clarity, the sea, the sky, the horizon.
This work was painted to the song "13 Beaches" by Lana Del Rey. The artist always chooses a special piece of music to accompany each work.
The painting is inspired both by the music and by the place where the artist lives and works.
The original image is slightly larger as it shows more clouds in the sky, but unfortunately this had to be sacrificed to the standard production size.
