Sometime around May/June the meadows, verges, parks and woods turn cheerfully yellow: the Spring Sunflower (Doronicum orientale) is in bloom again. A sign that summer is on its way.
I took this photograph in the estate Kasteel Oud Poelgeest in Oegstgeest (Netherlands). A nice view of these flowers under the fresh green of the trees.
