Morning glow over the Schafalpenköpfe

In the first light of day, the mountain range on the Mindelheim via ferrata awakens as if from a deep, silent dream. The three Schafalpenköpfe tower out of the semi-darkness like ancient guardians, their flanks still cool from the breath of the night. Then the sunrise breaks over the ridges, a quiet, almost holy blaze of gold that warms the rough rocks and for a moment takes away their austerity.
The shadows slowly recede, giving way to the new day that sweeps over the ridges and cirques. In the distance, the Fiderescharte opens up, a stone gate at 2214 metres, offering a view of the endless expanse of the Allgäu Alps. Here, where Bavaria shows its wild, unspoilt lines, there is a deep calm in the air - a calm that you can feel rather than hear.
The wind softly tells of past storms, of summers full of light and winters that shroud the land in silence. And as the first footsteps sound on the narrow path, the world seems perfect for a moment: an interplay of rock, light and sky that expands the soul and reminds the hiker of the wonder of being part of this moment.
