Höfats in tranquil black-and-white light

A black-and-white moment that feels like a breath of the mountains: from the Laufbacher-Eckweg, the world unfolds in a play of light and shadow, as if the day itself had decided to speak in subtle shades of grey. The Große Wilder, rugged yet imbued with a quiet dignity, rises like an ancient guardian above the Oytal. Its flanks are lost in soft veils of mist that glide down the valley, as if wishing to touch the landscape with a gentle hand.
Further across, the Höfats comes into view – this unique pyramid of grass and rock, which appears even more dramatic in black and white, almost like a thought leaning against the sky. In this colour scheme, the Allgäu Alps appear timeless, otherworldly, as though they were not part of the world but part of a dream slowly unfolding.
The lines of the ridges, the depths of the gorges, the silent weight of the peaks – everything becomes a monochrome melody that tells of wind and stone. A panorama that is not merely seen, but felt: rugged, clear, and yet imbued with a quiet, almost meditative beauty.
